    Very beneficial jazakAllah khayr.
I have a question: The Names mentioned in this are not the usual 99 Names of Allah that we memorize, are they. More than half of them are, but there are some left out and some added. So are the beautiful Names more than 99 then? Which ones are the ones that the Prophet sall Allahu alayhi wa sallam referred to?

    wa iyyakum!

oohshiny: thanks for stopping by🙂 These Names are the 99 Names according to shaykh ibn Uthaymeen, and are considered the most authentic by the scholars. The Names of Allah are not only 99, rather there is an infinite amount but these are . Many of the Names that we grew up learning actually are not authentic (meaning found in the Qur’an or Sunnah). The list above all have their references in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Rasul Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam did not say in a hadeeth all of the 99 Names, so we actually don’t know🙂 the scholars have stated what *may* be the authentic list, but no one knows for sure. Allah is Most Knowing.

If you go on the “Names of Allah” tab at the top, I’ve put a list of resources there that you can use inshaAllah for more info on this.

    Alhamdu lillahi Rabbi al aa’lameen.

Assalaamu ‘alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu Sister Amatullah. Jazaakum Allahu khairan kathiran to you and AlMaghrib Qabeelat Nurayn for the new post.

Maybe you could state the reference.(Surah/Ayat No.)where the name is found, InshaAllah.
Its just a suggestion. What you have done is already a great service to people like me. I love you for Allah’s sake.

    oohshiny: wa iyyaki🙂 Alhamdulilah

Halimah: wa alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu! wa iyyakum, alhamdulillah.

The ayaat references are there, if you look under the transliterated name in the document. For example, the picture of Ash-Shakoor above, the ayah ref is in (35:30).
and may He for whose sake you love me, love you🙂 Ameen.

Thank you for stopping by everyone. Let me know how I can improve Tayyibaat inshaAllah in any way. wa lillahil hamd.
