My Lord, Bestow on them Your Mercy

May 11, 2009

Bismillah

And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be excellent to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them, but address them in terms of honor. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: “My Lord! Bestow on them Your mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.” (Isra 17:23-24)

Have you made duaa for your parents?

Parents’ love is unconditional and nurturing. There is no substitute for this love, none. SubhanAllah, Allah loves his creations more than even the parents. Ya Allah have mercy on our parents, us and our children. Ameen.

The strenght of Islam and the presevation of our values are transferred from parents to their children-taking away this respect of our parents is the favorite tool of shaitan to weaken our religion. May Allah protect all muslims from satan’s evil.

As long as we bring up our children with Islamic values and teach them to respect thier parents and elders and thier teachers then they will be immune to the treachery of the devil and his cohorts. May Allah turn thier (enemies of islam) plots upon them and curse them. Ameeen

In Surah Ahqaf, verse 15-16, interestingly Allah promises to OVERLOOK (not pardon) all the misdeeds of the person who is kind to his parents. He will only take into consideration the best of the best stuff he did and pass the judgement in his favour.

    Quran Surah 46
And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] is thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.” verse 15

Those are the ones from whom We will accept the best of what they did and overlook their misdeeds, [their being] among the companions of Paradise. [That is] the promise of truth which they had been promised. verse 16

An outstanding share! I’ve just forwarded this onto a friend who had been conducting a little research on this.
And he in fact ordered me breakfast simply because I stumbled upon it
for him… lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!!
But yeah, thanks for spending some time to talk about this subject here on your
    internet site.
